The fall 2021 KSS meeting will be Oct. 8-9-2021 at Woodson County State Fishing Lake. The business meeting will be around 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at the campground. This will be the annual election meeting. The lake is located at 37.7880 -95.8425. From Yates Center go seven miles southwest on U.S. Highway 54. Follow a gravel road south three miles, then east for 1.25 miles. Primitive camping, vault toilets, and a shelter house are available amenities. There are known caves in the area, but no one has reported they have made arrangements for any cave visits. Meet at 10 a.m. Saturday morning for possible field trips in the area.
